Ask a Lot People about Britax Baby Carrier : ”A major factor in buying a baby carrier that must be considered is the comfort of the baby and parents, how with Britax Baby Carrier ?”. Baby’s weight is well-distributed between your shoulders and hips/lower back, so it’s comfortable for mommy and daddy. (Let’s be real, it’s never comfortable to carry a baby for an extended time, especially as they get bigger and more wiggly. But this carrier is as good as it gets IMHO.) Both baby and I don’t get as hot wearing it as other carriers, I’m guessing because of the well-ventilated design. It’s organic cotton, which may help with the comfort/heat (although I only bought the organic because the price was lower at the time).

up to 32 pounds. Along with comfort and versatility, the Britax Baby Carrier was engineered for simple daily use. An over-the-head design makes it easy to get the carrier on and off, one-handed buckles and snaps simplify getting your child in and out of the carrier, and both the harness and waist belt straps have been constructed for easy adjustment. Coming from the leader in child safety, the Britax Baby Carrier has been engineered for safety as well. Adjustable head support and leg loops provide head and neck stability for younger infants and a secure fit for smaller babies. A secure harness and pouch design ensures that baby will stay securely within the carrier. With the Britax Baby Carrier carrying your growing baby has never been more comfortable or easy.

Harness and Support System Keep Your Child Safe
The BRITAX BABY CARRIER is recommended for children from 8 to 32 pounds. The harness and pouch design ensure your child will stay comfortably and securely inside the carrier. An adjustable head support stabilizes your child’s head and neck, while adjustable leg loops ensure a correct fit. The carrier also includes a removable infant insert for smaller babies, helping them maintain a comfortable, natural seated position.
For older children that no longer require the use of the infant insert, the Seat Extender Insert (sold separately) can be used with the BRITAX BABY CARRIER. The Seat Extender Insert is a removable support that provides a wider seating area by cradling your baby’s bottom and thighs, which allows your child to wrap or splay their legs around your waist when facing inward through the entire use of the carrier. This supports a wide, spread squatting position for your child and enhanced longer-wearing comfort for you through balanced weight distribution.

The BRITAX BABY CARRIER is backed by a manufacturer’s limited two-year warranty.

Baby Carrier Review

Months ago, on our search for the “perfect carrier”, my husband and I compared quite a few on the market. Initially, I was positive that I wanted a sling-type wrap carrier. We got the baby ktan made with the breathable mesh (since we live in California and it gets HOT) and I used it once. Putting it on was a struggle, adjusting the straps was a greater struggle as it got all tangled, and most importantly, my baby girl HATED it. It is now being used as a cooling fabric for the car seat. So, the search continued. We started to look at the more conventional carriers that I had previously thought were too bulky and inconvenient to use. But after trying on a few, I quickly changed my mind. We were looking for something that was comfortable for our newborn baby, comfortable for wearer, and versatile (i.e., can be used as forward or inward facing). We narrowed it down to the ergo, the newly designed baby bjorn comfort carrier, and the newly released britax. Here are my analyses:
*ERGO
-pros: comfortable for baby & parent bc of the support, organic fabric
-cons: can only be worn inward facing either on the front or back

Baby Carrier Review

Baby Carrier Review

*BABY BJORN COMFORT CARRIER
-pros: new design of added waist belt allows more support (the major perks of ergo), flexible leg positions w/o any additional inserts, super soft organic material, can be used as forward facing
-cons: cannot be used for newborns under 3 months
*ORGANIC BRITAX CARRIER
-pros: great support (waist belt, upper back strap, and very well cushioned shoulder straps), versatility (forward facing AND inward facing), soft organic material (the non-organic carrier was very stiff and rough in texture), can be used for newborn w/ the newborn insert (included)
-cons: needed separate inserts for non-newborn babies (not included)
I was quite torn between the bjorn and the britax bc of the leg inserts but in the end, we went the the organic britax bc we could use it right away for our newborn baby. Now bjorn has a newer carrier that does accommodate newborns, but overall, I am VERY satisfied with our choice. Our baby LOVES being able to look out in the forward facing position when we go out and when she is tired, we simply turn her to face inward and she is able to sleep comfortably as well. Our search has come to a very happy ending. :)

Ask a lot of people about ERGObaby Original Baby Carrier : "Original Ergo or Performance? I’m in need of a new carrier for my 10-month old daughter. I plan to get an Ergo, but I can’t decide between the original and the performance. I went to a local retailer to try both, but they only had the original. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?".The Ergo is a wonderful carrier that you, your spouse and baby can use comfortably for hours, whether you’re running errands, traveling, hiking or just hanging out with your baby at home. I have used them with all my three kids – there are three types:

  • Original (like the Black/camel one), made of thick cotton with soft shoulder straps. It has a pocket in front with a zipper for your wallet, keys, cell phone, passport, etc. I’ve had this one for 4 years with 3 kids, still going strong.
  • Performance – a snug fit with thick contoured straps – I found this one very uncomfortable and the space for baby too small, so I returned it. However, many parents do like it.
  • Ergo Sport – a lightweight version of the original, with a streamlined design. Great for summer, has longer straps than the original, but it doesn’t have the storage pocket in front for personal items. The original provides more coverage & warmth for the baby.

The Ergos can be used with young babies if you use it with a ERGObaby Infant Insert Heart2Heart – it works well up till about 4-5 months. After this you can use the Ergo by itself. You can nurse with it on in privacy (with attached cover) and baby can nap as well.

The Best Ergo Baby Carries Customers Review

Let's Take a look at the  ERGObaby Original Baby Carrier  Customers  Reviews.

Ergo Baby Carrier Customer Review

Ergo Baby Carrier Customer Review

We purchased the Ergo carrier before our daughter was born based on the recommendation of a friend. However, we found that she could not sit in it comfortably at first. Before your baby can straddle your torso (until about 4 months/15 lbs), you have to put both legs on one side. I watched the instructional DVD several times and tried to place her into the carrier as comfortably as possible, but she did not like it at all. It didn’t look comfortable either with her back twisted and body squished. This is when we decided to try the original Baby Bjorn carrier.

Our daughter loved being in the Bjorn (facing in or out). This carrier is easy to put on and take off and quite compact. However, it was not very comfortable for me (especially as she got heavier) since it put a lot of pressure on my back and shoulders. The fact that there is no waist belt and little padding on the shoulder straps probably contributes to this. The newer Baby Bjorn Active carrier with lumbar support may alleviate some of these problems. I haven’t tried this product though, so I’m not speaking from personal experience). We used the Bjorn until she turned 4 months (about 15 lbs).

Baby Carrier Customer Review

Baby Carrier Customer Review

I was so relieved when she could finally fit into the Ergo properly (with one leg on each side). It is so much easier on my back and shoulders. With the Bjorn, I could maybe last 15 minutes (at 15 lbs). With the Ergo, I can comfortably go for an hour or two (at almost 20 lbs now). I go grocery shopping and on longer walks this way. She seems very comfortable in it now. She’s happy whenever I put her in it and will even go to sleep in it. (Sometimes, this is the only way I can get her to sleep). It looks a lot more comfortable than the Bjorn since she’s sitting in it as opposed to being suspended from her crotch. I also don’t have any trouble nursing discretely in the Ergo.

Around 6 months I also began carrying her on my back in the Ergo, which was even easier on my back. I have found this to be really convenient when doing things around the house such as vacuuming, doing laundry, cooking etc. It’s also nice for outdoor activities like apple picking, strawberry picking, hiking etc. I find these activities somewhat more difficult when carrying a baby in front. While it is easy to put your baby in the front carrying position by yourself, it takes some practice to wear your baby on your back. At first, I needed somebody to help me get her situated on my back, but now I can easily do it by myself. Some may not like the

Baby Carrier Customer Review

Baby Carrier Customer Review

fact that you cannot face your baby outward in the Ergo (and some babies may not like facing inward). This has not been a problem for us. While our daughter loved facing outward in the Bjorn, she did not object to facing inward in the Ergo. Rather than being pressed up against me, she’s sitting in it, so she can still look at things to the sides. One more thing about the Ergo – I would recommend purchasing the sucking pads (ERGO Sucking Pads – Cream). Our daughter loves sucking on the straps and it’s just much more convenient to wash the sucking pads rather than the whole carrier.

In summary, I think that both, the Bjorn as well as the Ergo, are good carriers, each with some drawbacks. The Bjorn is wonderful for a newborn up to about 12-15 lbs. Being able to have your baby facing in or out is a nice feature. Because of the strain on your back however, I would not recommend using this carrier with older/heavier babies. The Ergo is great for babies starting at around 15 lbs or when they are able to wrap their legs around you. It is much easier on your back and being able to carry your baby on your back can be convenient. For us, the Ergo was not very useful before our daughter turned 4 months as she was not comfortable with her legs on one side, but this probably depends on the baby.

Best Baby Strollers Reviews

Best Baby Strollers Reviews

I am 7.5 months pregnant and have a very petite 2 year old daughter. I was delighted when this came in the mail about 70% assembled, it only took me about 20 minutes to put it together with no need of tools of any kind — not even a shoe to whack something into place ;)

Once together, my two year old wanted to sit in it ASAP! She is 24 pounds and fits with room to spare in both the top and bottom seats with canopies. The bottom seat has a tray with two cup holders and a shallow center area for snacks, this tray is fixed and doesn’t swing open so you have to top load your child; it would have been nice for this to have a hinge like our other Graco strollers. The top seat has a small tray with impressions to hold snacks, or the parent can use it if the top seat is used by a baby in an infant car seat. There is a slide out cup holder that can be used by the parent. It indicates not to put hot beverages in here since a tenacious child in the top seat could easily reach it — so while it is handy, use it at your own risk. The three cup holders are just shy of 4″ across; in the child’s tray the cup holders are 1.5″ deep and the one that slides out for the parent is almost 2″ deep. Just something to consider when choosing a cup to bring along.

The 12 configurations are easy to shift from, but I wouldn’t want to attempt a serious rearrangement in a parking lot — so make sure it is how you want it before you head out. While it is heavy, around 35 pounds, it is one of the lighter and more compact two-seater strollers we looked at. The bottom basket is large and easiest to access when the top toddler seat is removed. When that seat is present it is a tight fit to get items in and out, especially if you have a toddler in the top seat and an infant car seat facing you in the bottom seat. I plan to use it in this configuration when our baby is born, so I wish the bottom big kid seat over the basket swung to the side or popped out — currently I can only find instructions to flip it up, which just blocks what little space there is to put things inside. I do like that the Graco car we will be using for our infant clicks into the bottom seat, the bottom hook latches under the front tray. I assume this is why the bottom tray is fixed with no hinge. Be aware that the car seat covers the tray and those cup holders are covered too.

The harnesses are easy to use for adults but my child cannot undo then, she can undo the harness buckles on our Jeep stroller. I really like the extra crotch strap on the top toddler seat that also comes unsnapped and provides extra security for top riders. Good to know: this top seat does not recline, so if you are going to be out with two kids on different nap schedules, but the napper in the bottom seat which reclines almost flat.

The colors of the Forecaster are a bit different than what I see online, the brown is more of a dark mushroom and the orange is more a darker rust than the orange I expected — overall it looks better in person than the photo online, think desert neutrals rather than fast food brown and orange. This is good for parents who have boys and/or girls and want a neutral palette.

Best Baby Strollers Reviews

It is very easy to fold down and expand. You depress a button with your thumb on the handle and twist the grip to release the locking mechanism. You do not have to take anything off before folding which is super convenient. The brake is one simple peddle which is easier to use than our current Graco stroller, which hurts your foot if you are wearing sandals or open toe shoes — I could use this brake barefoot if I wanted to.

I was looking at getting the Britax B-Ready stroller, but it is twice the cost, you have to purchase the extra seats and there is no standing platform option; if your kids are a couple of years apart you will want to consider that an older kid will eventually want to do more than sit. We figure that this Graco Ready2Grow stroller will last us much longer than the Britax B-ready.

Graco Baby Strollers

Graco Baby Strollers

We have been fully satisfied with our single seater Graco Via4 Stroller. Overall I am over the moon with what a great help this new stroller will be once our little bun is done. Great flexibility and quality for the price. One star off for basket access issues and the non-swinging front seat tray, both items are not an issue with our current Graco stroller and I wish they had carried those design choices into this new stroller. But other than those two things, this is just what we were looking for. Parent and toddler approved!

Ask a lot of people about BABYBJORN Toilet Trainer : "will this fit an elongated toliet seat?". Yes
Adjustable dial does not engage on ours (I think b/c of the thickness of the seat, not the length of the seat) but it works great without it.

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer Set

Let's take a look At How the BABYBJORN Toilet Trainer

Produc Description :
When your child is ready to transition from the potty chair to the full-size toilet, it’s time to introduce the BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer (White/Red). With its adjustable dial, this ergonomically designed trainer fits toilet seats of all sizes. Soft and comfortable, it allows children to sit for as long as they need to. A built-in splashguard minimizes messes and prevents little legs from getting pinched–a great relief to both kids and parents.

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer

Kid-friendly Seat for Easy Toilet Training
A child is more likely to use a big-person toilet if he or she feels comfortable doing so, and the Toilet Trainer is designed to achieve this. Making kids feel safe and at ease, the trainer’s soft, ergonomic shape provides a comfortable seat without any sharp angles. However, always help your child climb on and off the toilet trainer until it is safe for the child to do it on his or her own. The contoured curves also make it easy for kids to get on and off the toilet by themselves, helping them feel independent. To encourage this independence, a perfect accompaniment to the Toilet Trainer is the BABYBJORN Safe Step.

Another key design feature of the Toilet Trainer is its opening, which is wide enough for parents to help kids wipe, but small enough to prevent a child from slipping through.

Fits Toilets of all Sizes
No matter how large or small the toilet is, the Toilet Trainer will fit. The trainer features an adjustable dial that adapts it to toilets of all sizes. The bottom of the trainer has a soft rubber edge and adjustable wings, both of which ensure that it stays in place securely and doesn’t slide under little bottoms.

Minimizes Messes with Built-in Splash Guard
The Toilet Trainer makes for hassle-free cleaning for parents and caregivers. An integrated, angled splash guard helps prevent kids from making messes outside of the toilet. This splash-proof feature translates to fewer accidents for kids, which in turn builds their confidence and makes them feel secure about using the full-size toilet again and again.

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainner

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainner

Cleans Easily and Comes in Fun Colors
For those family members who don’t require the training seat, the Toilet Trainer has a convenient, built-in handle that makes it easy to remove and replace. It is easily cleaned with hot water.

Like all BABYBJÖRN-designed products, the Toilet Trainer has a distinctive style. Kids will enjoy the trainer’s range of color combinations, which include: White with Red rim, White with Blue rim, White with Black rim, and Pink with White rim.

Learning something new can sometimes take a while. The BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer makes learning to go to the bathroom a little easier. Soft curves make the Toilet Trainer a comfortable place to sit, and it is easy to adjust to fit any toilet seat. Once the Toilet Trainer has been adjusted, children can easily put it on and remove it from the toilet seat by themselves. The BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer is easy to keep clean and has a built-in handle so you can hang it up when it’s not in use.

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer

Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer

The hubs and I don’t really buy a lot of special baby/kid goods. Our two year old son drinks out of normal glasses, he eats with adult silverware, he never used a pacifier, etc etc. So we didn’t want to buy him a separate little potty chair, either. Might as well start him on the real thing so we don’t have to switch him over later, right? We bought this so that he could sit comfortably on a normal toilet.

This is a lovely, sturdy device, which is very easy to clean and has a convenient hook for hanging on the wall. What a nice bathroom decoration. The guests. just. love. it. “You have a toilet seat on your wall! Wow! That’s great!” said nobody ever. But whatever, it’s an easy way to store it. The front lip is a little difficult for my son to get over when he’s sitting down, but it seems like somewhat of a safety feature, so I’m good with it.

I don’t really know what to say. It’s well made, but come on, it’s a potty seat. Your kid sits on it to pee. It’s not super hard to get that wrong. Anyway, my son is still not really interested in the potty, but that speaks more to his love of pooping in his diaper in whatever hidden corner he can find than the quality of the chair. I’d recommend this product to others.

Our Airport requires to have that verbiage on it."?. I was actually looking for the sticker also, as we’ll be flying in a few weeks. I looked everywhere (I thought) and couldn’t find it; so I called Graco customer service to see if they could send me one to apply to the carseat since the airline said it is required to have it actually on the carseat. Anyway, they told me to look on the bottom of the seat (actually turn it upside) and it was there! It does specify though that it is only approved for air craft when used with the harness, just as the instruction booklet states.

Graco Infant Car Seat

By  Kelly S. Pyne : Like others I found online our GRACO NAUTILUS crotch strap button locked up and is stuck in place, rendering the carseat utterly useless. No matter how hard we press in it will not budge! Our child was literally trapped in the seat while up to 4 different adults tried to release the jammed button. We had to remove the entire seat from the car, loosen all of the straps and slip the poor kid out. Did I mention the car seat is only two months old! We noticed it was a little difficult to press in but thought it normal. To top it off Graco is NOT available over weekends so now we have to wait until Monday to speak with an actual human being to try and remedy this. So frustrating!!! If others have experienced this same thing (and they have) why don’t the just recall this stupid faulty part!

By Angelani : I did a lot of research and chose to go with this one based on price and safety. I wanted the Diono Radian RXT but it was way more expensive and new so the reviews weren’t out yet. I can’t say since I haven’t actually tried a radian but I think I should have forked out the extra cash. Yes, the Nautilus is heavy and safe but it is

extremely annoying as well. I have a 2010 RAV4. The Nautilus sits up so high that I literally have to pick my 3 year old son up with both arms with him in a sitting position and plop him into it. I end up banging his head, twisting his arm, etc… every other time. He can’t climb into it himself unless I want him stepping all over the seats with his wet shoes. Even if he does climb in himself I then have to dig for the belt buckle from under his butt. I’d say most parents put their kid behind the pasenger seat so they can see them when they turn around, why then is the cup holder on the right arm? If there is a cup in there I have to remove it everytime I want to get him in and out. Like I want to juggle a cup when I am already usng both arms to lift my son into his car seat. Also, a lot of car seats are tough to tighten and unbuckle, this one is no different. It was not the “best buy” I was looking for.
